Dear Clients and Patrons of the Powdersville Wellness Spa LLC, During this time of many struggles, I have had to make the difficult decision to close the Powdersville Wellness Spa LLC., due to the Coronavirus shut down from March 19th to May 18th, 2020. Now, after over two months, I have not yet received state unemployment benefits, which is problematic for independent contractors such as myself nationwide. I am unable to continue to pay the overhead each month. My lease has a clause that allows for release at the one year mark and I must exercise that option as it is uncertain if massage therapy will resume adequately to sustain a practice at the present time. Therapists have been allowed to return to work, but with many restrictions and to continue a binding lease would be risky. All efforts will be made to shut down the office in an orderly efficient manner. Monica, who has remained a dedicated office manager for several years has agreed to assist to the end. I will attend to all business prior to closure on July 1, 2020. After that time, I will continue to work from home. The phone service will be turned off, but I can be reached through the spa email, email@example.com. The web site, will remain live and will be monitored for some months after closure. I want you all to know that over the past eleven years I have loved being an LMT and spa owner. I have truly enjoyed meeting new people, helping my clients with pain, stress relief and supporting the healthy lifestyle of Massage Therapy that I believe in so much. Thank you all for your business, support, and friendship through this difficult time. You will be missed. For those of you that wish to continue as clients, I will be working from home. I will of course have a room dedicated to massage only and you will receive the same professional service as always. I will also continue to accept credit cards, cash, and checks.
All the best to you for happy and healthy futures.
Kindest Regards, Linda Allen Viens
P.S. I wanted to thank many of you for your kind wishes in regard to my recent marriage on March 11, 2020.
Massage Therapy Benefits Experts estimate that upwards of 90% of disease is stress related and perhaps nothing ages us faster than high stress. The relaxation one feels after a massage helps eliminate stress.
We can't eliminate anxiety and pressure in our fast-paced world, but at Powdersville Wellness Spa, we can help manage and reduce your stress.
This translates into:
Increased sleep quality
Reduces fatigue-increases energy
Alleviates low-back pain
Relieves migraine pain
Improved range of motion
Increases joint flexibility
Stretches weak, or atrophied muscles
Reduces spasms and cramping
Relaxes injured, tired, & overworked muscles
Lessens depression and anxiety
Releases endorphins which are natural painkillers
Improves the body’s largest organ - the skin
Helps athletes prepare for, and recover from strenuous workouts
Enhances immunity by stimulating lymph flow - the body’s natural defense system
Clients often report a sense of perspective and clarity after a massage. The emotional balance bodywork provides can often be as valuable as physical exercise. Physiological and chemical changes cascade throughout the body with profound effects. Massage therapy can do a world of good, taking part in how healthy and youthful you’ll remain with each passing year. Making time for bodywork at consistent intervals is truly an investment in your health. Consider frequent massage a necessary part of your wellness plan.
